Full Stack Engineer Lead - Merchant Payment

About the role
Merchant Payment is looking for passionate, entrepreneurial technical leaders with a drive of building scalable applications and teams. In this role you will be responsible for the overall delivery of your team and will interface very closely with business stakeholders and product stakeholders to deliver a cutting edge product aimed at improving customer experience on Payment. A strong sense of prioritization, deep technical expertise along with taking care of growth and development of the team, are essential in this role
What you will do
- Design & develop highly scalable, reliable, secure and fault-tolerant systems and code base with minimal guidance
- Write RFCs, system analysis documents outlining the proposed changes
- Optimize web performance on page loads, search, filter over multi-page contentEnsuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability in accordance with best practices and UX specifications
- Debug production issues across services and different levels of the stack
- Ability to learn new stacks and propose systematic changes to the existing stack
- Code reusable, modular UI components that can be open sourced
- Experience in cross-browser compatibility
- Work with UX designers to build ‘Pixel-perfect’ implementation user interface
- Deep dive into UI frameworks/library, evaluate, articulate choices based on use cases
- Mentoring teammates to make them better developers.
What you will need
- At least 6 years of relevant software development experience with consumer/enterprise products with hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale applications
- 3+ years experience in Backend Development.3+ years of experience in ReactJS
- Expertise in Redux, mobx, Flux, as well as storage management.
- Good knowledge in high level system architecture design and low level details on how framework/platform works
- Fluent in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SPA frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience implementing testing platforms like JS testing frameworks (Jest).
- Solid understanding of API integrations (REST, WebSockets).
- Proficient in OOP, SQL, Design Patterns and software best practices
- Ability to collaborate and communicate asynchronously, delivering and iterating quickly
- Figuring out key issues in the web application in terms of security, compatibility across devices and performance.
- Have good end to end knowledge from backend to frontend

We run and oversee one of Southeast Asia's largest merchant platforms, e-money wallet platforms and Indonesia's leading digital payments provider. We empower many large businesses that include Google, Disney+, McDonald’s, Tokopedia, Blibli, Jd.id, and Kitabisa.
As the Payment team, we work not only in software but also hardware devices like Spots and Moka. Our payment gateway Midtrans for online merchants provides 10+ payment channel ranging from card acceptance to convenience stores. Some of our users include Google, McDonald’s, Tokopedia, Blibli, Jd.id, and Kitabisa.
