In POST., you'll likely get experience on many different projects across the organization. You will have the chance to learn about building systems from the ground-up, how a startup works and how to make product decisions that are aligned with the business goals. We are not only building POS application, we aim to be more than that. With the rich ecosystem in Fazz Financial Group, POST. will help merchants grow their business to the next level.
About The Role
- Most of what you'll do day-to-day will involve working with product managers and designers to create amazing & intuitive user experiences on the web. In most cases we use ReactJS, but we believe in using the right tool for the right job.
What You'll Do
- Active contributor to the development of a highly scalable POS system
- Work with fellow engineers, product managers, and business owners in the team to ensure requirements are sound and are met
- Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems
- System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains
- Suggest architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
- Build and maintain tools and processes to ensure high transaction and system integrity.
- Keep pace with the developments of financial technology in the region
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Experience with ReactJS
- Deep understanding of how the web application works, strives to get a 100 score in Lighthouse.
- BS/MS Degree in any relevant major (ex: IT, Computer Science, etc) OR a proven track record in software engineering
- Knowledge of rapid development of products
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Familiar with Git and GitHub
- Evidence of understanding system design
Nice to haves (Optional)
- Took an important technical role in a high growth startup
- Evidence of ability to be able to think from product and engineering point of view
- Audit, accounting, and reconciliation of financial systems at scale
- Developed a zero-downtime system
- Knowledge in money, blockchain, and breakthroughs in financial technology
- Managed complex sequences of third party integrations
