About the Role 

As a data analyst in the Digital Banking Fraud team of Bank Jago, you will be a critical part of safeguarding the safety and security of our customers and transactions from fraud. The role would require you to work closely with the risk team, data solutions, marketing, as well as operations. 

To be successful in this position, you will need prior experience in anti-fraud analytics along with a creative and proactive approach to solving issues through data-driven methodologies. You will have to be an eager problem solver and a partner for the business teams. 

What you will do day to day:

• Create and/or transform existing monitoring dashboards for the specific end-user needs
• Create pipelines or automation to solve data reporting issues 
• Create logic in collaboration with Fraud Ops in order to garner insights from fraud investigations and transform them into high precision rules  
• Identify loopholes or gaps in the product programme or marketing campaigns that can lead to promotion abuse, voucher abuse, or fake registration
• Provide actionable recommendation through deep dive analysis or hypothesis testing with the main objective include improving fraud detection accuracy, sizing fraud modus operandi, or mitigating high risk actions
• Assist with data requirement needs in Fraud Detection System development including but not limited to creating data dictionary 
• Ad-hoc analysis to help address business challenges and opportunities

What you will need to have:

• A tertiary education in a quantitative discipline
• At least 3-years of experience in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of SQL, python, airflow, and dashboarding tools such as Google Data Studio
• Ability to translate abstract questions to tangible solutions
• Good communication skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional team (matrix) with technical and non-technical people
• Proactive and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and priority
