Fraud team manage the fraud risk in the whole FFG to ensure that we create a safe environment for the company, employees, users and also the people in general.
Fraud team currently consist of a creative thinker, data-driven, fun and very adaptive members that came from well known company in Indonesia all passionate about fighting the fraud.
You will report to Fraud Analyst Lead and Fraud Manager, while also maintain a good coordination with Fraud Operations team, Fraud Engine team, Operations team, Finance team, Compliance team, Legal and Litigation team and of course the Product teams.
Fraud analysts mainly doing assessment of fraud risk, pattern analysis in daily monitoring, creating rules for mitigation and supporting litigation process.
We expect you to also improving yourself by sharing knowledge with each other, taking part on investigation special project, joining webinars of fraud issues, thus improve all the team to be able to analyze better.
You will be asked to have a good teamwork and good communication as you will be working on a team, cross the team both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
What you'll do
- Scrutinize special cases escalated from Fraud Operations;
- Identify potential fraud risk on new or enhancement initiatives in the company;
- Periodically analyzing the patterns, changes of behavior on our users and their transactions;
- Suggest fraud prevention, detection and handling for any potential fraud risk from initiatives or changes of behavior;
- Work together with Fraud Engine Team, Product Team to create and to enhance fraud system implementation;
- Utilize fraud engine from the infrastructure team to help prevent more fraud or improving the fraud system implemented on each products;
- Collaborating with Internal Security Team to create fraud awareness or training to internal employees to increase awareness of fraud and security;
- Collaborating with Fraud Ops and Business Development/Sales Team to create fraud awareness to managed clients;
- Create monitoring tools to be used by the Fraud Ops to detect fraudsters fast and accurate;
- Generate weekly and monthly reports for the management using decided metrics and give the thorough analysis on the report;
- Researching, testing and manual-hacking for our internal products to find a gap for fraud;
- Help Risk Team by escalating special fraud cases to be handled correctly and in a timely manner and by assisting in investigation for any fraud cases reported;
- Collaborating with Fraud Ops, assess the merchant to be onboarded for any fraud indication or potential fraud risk that can affecting to the company;
- Help to support Litigation team by preparing data on fraud case reported and to fulfill police inquiry for data regarding the fraud case;
- Working on field investigation to get requirements for internal fraud investigation, fraud projects or Internal Audit projects with confidentiality and integrity;
- Document and communicate with the whole fraud team for the case progress and any findings you founded;
- Contribute on how to improve the fraud management, team efficiency, teamwork ethics;
- Continue to grow yourself in your skills related to data analytics;
What we're looking for
- 1-2 years of experience in AML/CFT or Anti-Fraud world with advanced SQL is preferable, or experience in Fraud Banking is welcomed!
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must
- Strong in logical, analytical thinking and problem solving skill
- Advanced skills in using Ms. Office or Google Docs and Sheets
- A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Management, Computer Science, Information System, Finance, Accounting, or Law
- Google Data Studio, Big Query and Python knowledge is preferable
- Card fraud knowledge, is a plus and another plus for cryptocurrency!
- Experience with police inquiry is very welcome, your bravery counted!
