Financial Controller

AYANA Hospitality is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the financial health of our luxury properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulations. You will work closely with the executive team to provide strategic insights that drive business decisions and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for AYANA Hospitality
• Prepare detailed financial reports that summarize and forecast the company’s financial status
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to enhance profitability and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage and oversee the accounting department and ensure proper maintenance of all accounting records
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
• Implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency
• Support investment and financing decisions with thorough financial analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management, with a preference for the hospitality sector
• Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
• Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and influence stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
