We're looking for a Finance Controller/Accounting Manager to manage accounting teams daily operations focusing on process improvement, ensuring compliance with appropriate IFRS standards and regulatory requirements and managing ad hoc projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team and ensure month, quarter and yearly transactions are processed and books closed in a timely and accurate manner and results are reported to stakeholders (HQ finance team and Management)
- Responsible for internal and statutory financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors and prepare/coordinate the audit schedules as needed-Provide compliance and technical accounting guidance for existing and new products.
- Work closely with the payment operations team and act as a finance advisor to bridge the gap between operations and accounting team-Work closely with the Treasury team on working capital management and liquidity management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- At least 10 years of working experience and 3 years of people management experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations.
- Have a very good understanding of Financial and Operating system flows and processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hands on in execution and highly proactive-Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- The Good to Have: Prior experience in the Tech industry and Big 4 Accounting firms is a plus.
- Prior experience at start-ups is a plus.
