As a Business Finance Manager, you will be responsible for tracking a company's financial performance against a plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.
Job Description
- Support the management team in the planning, budgeting, and forecasting process
- Develop different financial models to analyze the business and evaluate strategic opportunities
- Working closely with the business owner to understand the business value, analyze the business proposal and give recommendations
- Monitor and track budget with actuals, analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and produce financial reports/performance for regular management reviews
- Perform a cost analysis process, do a cost efficiency improvement and cost control without major impacts on business operations
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent educational background)
- At least 5-7 years of relevant cumulative working experience as a finance professional or FP&A is strongly preferred
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) with great communication skills: can articulate issues well, can communicate issues to non-finance in a simple yet effective manner
- Prior exposure to ERP software such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Team player and can communicate effectivelywith various stakeholders
- Good knowledge of the activities performed in the entire finance function
- Advance knowledge of Excel and PPT preferred
