About the Job

Our Experiments team builds growth engines for Xendit through experimental products. We do this by pushing the frontiers of what is possible in the industry and creating modern solutions to old problems. As part of the Experiments team, you may become part of a team that builds from 0 to 1, from 1 to 1,000, or from 1,000 to the moon. It requires flexibility and adaptability to take on new challenges in order to grow an early-stage product.

To build from the ground up, we take ideas, customer pain points, or gaps in the market, push out an MVP at speed and iterate to find product-market fit. This team presents a unique opportunity for people who are looking to build something new, rather than scaling mature products. People who join this team have a strong interest in growth (personally and professionally) and, therefore, a continuous improvement mindset. 

We're seeking a passionate individual to take the helm of marketing for our exciting new consumer financial products. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for devising and executing a robust go-to-market strategy (GTM) to drive awareness and widespread adoption of our innovative offerings. Your primary focus will be to collaborate closely with Product and Design teams, craft compelling narratives, and establish a strong market presence. Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of consumer marketing experience within a dynamic and fast-moving industry.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and fostering their independent success.
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to go the extra mile, coupled with a humble attitude for continuous learning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and functions within an organization.
  • Thrives on autonomy and has a track record of self-learning to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to make well-informed, swift decisions based on quantitative or qualitative metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Indonesian consumer market is a plus.
  • Bonus points for prior experience in marketing financial products.
  • Double bonus if you are passionate about promoting financial inclusion.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

  1. Go-to-Market Strategy (GTM)
    1. Collaborate with Product and Design teams to develop a comprehensive product marketing strategy.
    2. Understand and cater to the needs of the target customers, crafting effective positioning and messaging.
    3. Create a consistent and compelling narrative across multiple channels and product lines.
    4. Lead and implement social media strategies across platforms like KOL, Tiktok, Instagram, and Twitter.
    5. Build product marketing playbooks and assets in collaboration with the Design team.
    6. Ensure the new product and branding are uniquely positioned and differentiated.
  2. Marketing Operations
    • Manage day-to-day marketing initiatives, fostering collaboration across various teams, including Product, Design, Ops, PR, and Legal.
    • Take ownership of growth metrics for acquisition across multiple channels.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to do whatever it takes to drive the success of Xendit.
