This is an opportunity for a self-driven individual to gain a lot of exposure to a fast-growing and energizing community. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology, and demonstrated curiosity and awareness of the investor and founder communities in Indonesia.
This role will report to our Communications & Marketing Manager based in Singapore, and work very closely with our Partner heading up Indonesia.

What You'll Do:
- Work with our Marketing & Communications team on planning and execution of projects and events with a deep focus on in-market events (Indonesia)
- Drive marketing events – design, produce and manage events including community events, portfolio workshops, and networking receptions, primarily in Indonesia, and secondarily in Vietnam and Singapore
- Identify and collaborate with vendors and venues. Design attendee experience from initial invitations through to post event follow-up
- Post-event reporting: Handle invoicing and budget reconciliation; create post-event reports/trackers to analyze for future improvement
- Drive speaking engagements: pitch partnership for events, vet event requests, respond to external speaking inquiries, support on speaker prep, and invite speakers as needed
- Support on community content: develop and deliver content for community engagement including event social media posts, website content, and other marketing collaterals
- Support on website updates, content development as and when needed
What We Look For:
- Prior work experience at Indonesian ecosystem players or startups preferred; experience in putting together founder-oriented events will be a bonus
- Fluent in Bahasa and English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure and is motivated in a fast paced environment
- At least 3-4 years of experience in an agency or a startup
- Self-motivated, team player, mature, ability to multitask, plan and stay organized
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, G-Suite, PowerPoint a plus
