We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and experience in setting up and managing event tracking. Our event tracking stack includes Google Tag Manager, GA360, Amplitude, Appsflyer, Braze, etc.
The role is very important to ensure that we have good quality customer behavior data, which is crucial in improving customer experience and digital marketing.
Job Descriptions
- Plan, develop and manage web and app tracking.
- Define and create tracking nomenclature.
- Mentor analysts to develop their technical and statistics skills.
- Collaborate with product, tech, and marketing teams on what to track, when to track it, why we need to track it and how to track it.
- Work with product engineers to establish best practices for testing.
- Review the tracking requirement document to ensure that it’s according to standard
- Setup GTM triggers and data layers as per requirements
- Work with product engineers to implement the tracker
- Do regular audits on all trackers to ensure that there are no duplicates, the data is accurate and the tracker is still in use.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in event tracking implementation, i.e. creating tracking requirements, creating triggers and tags, defining and designing data layers, etc.
- At least 1 year of experience in managing a team
- Strong understanding of GTM and data layers
- Strong experience in product and marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Clevertap, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
- Able to work both as a team and independently
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to manage and prioritize daily tasks while being goal-oriented
