The candidate must conceptualize event themes, prepare and manage event timelines, and generate media interest in ways that will make people interested in knowing more about our business. Will be in charge of finding the locations for the events as well as planning any activities. Ideally, the candidate should have superb interpersonal skills to develop vendor relationships.

This job required a creative person to plan different kinds of events and generate interest using different kinds of media, including social media. She/he needs to develop the offline & online marketing strategy and organize any marketing material for the events. The person will also be in charge of setting the budget and staying within budget. Process payments and invoices are included. When the event is over, a post-event report is required.


Responsibilities:

  • Creating and organizing the event schedule for multiple events, both offline and online
  • Develop a variety of event concepts
  • Managing and maintaining event budgets
  • Site selection and research
  • Coordinate vendors and logistics, including booth and merchandise production
  • Organize physical and digital marketing for the event
  • Maintain relationships with vendors
  • Coordinate with speakers and approving speaker notes.
  • Write a post-event report to debrief what went right and what can be improved upon
  • Calculate risks and rewards with big event decisions
  • Develop relationships with potential clients to grow our business
  • Should have at least 3 years of experience as Project Manager, Campaign Planner, Product Marketing, or other relevant roles
  • Proficient in spoken and written English is preferred
  • Proficient with presentation tools (Powerpoint, Slides), Microsoft excel, google sheet, and analytics tools for generating insights.
  • A degree in hospitality, public relations, marketing, or a similar field
  • Technical skills in budgeting
  • The ability to keep all the moving parts of various events organized
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for the small details
  • Self-motivated with strong leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to communicate the proper expectations for the event to a large team
