Engineering Manager - Remote Work

Hijra Engineering is the technology backbone of Hijra, the next-generation financial institution offering Sharia-compliant financial products to personal and business customers in Indonesia. Hijra’s financial services are purposefully ethical, inclusive, sustainable, and socially responsible.
We are looking for passionate engineering managers to join our engineering team.
Expected salary for this role: Rp 32.8 millions to Rp 52.5 millions (monthly netto, based on YoE).
Responsibilities
- Build, nurture, and grow our engineering teams
- Collaborate with other stakeholders (product, design, etc.) to iterate on new features
- Commit to drive the overall improvements of product quality
- Partner closely with other leaders to drive the engineering strategy
Requirements
- Experience as a people manager for 3+ years
- Mastery of continuous integration and automatic deployment
- Hands-on experience in architecting large scale distributed systems
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal communication
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote & asynchronous organization
- Willingness to understand, share, and live our values
