About the role
Technical Architect (Backend) is someone whom the team will look up to for technical leadership. He/she is comfortable enough to make important decisions and lead his/her teams in missions but yet always humble to learn and passionate about how crafted solid engineering solutions can make huge positive impact to people's lives.
Who You Are and What You'll Do:
- Initiate and drive technical roadmap
- Lead platform/core team (3-5 team members)
- Designs work for platform/core team
- Lead and monitor execution of technical roadmap
- Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth implementation
- 5+ years experience with software engineering best practices, i.e. clean code, SOLID, CQRS, design patterns, TDD
- Proficient in Java or Golang or Elixir
- Strong algorithms, data structures and coding background
- Experience leading successful migration from monolith to event driven microservice architecture
- Experience building complex systems that have been successfully delivered end to end
- Passionate to mentor other engineers in all aspects of their engineering skill sets
- Excellent communication skill
- Technically hands-on leader who is willing to roll sleeves and get hands dirty
- Graduated from highly reputable university (S1/Bachelor Degree or above)
