Buckle up if you’re ready to be our Employee Relations Specialist. In this role, you will be an integral player within the HR Compliance team based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Focusing heavily on Employee Relations main processes, you will help to ensure that the company adheres to legal standards and policies, stay up to date on all general labor law compliance and issues, thoroughly understanding compliance laws, providing adequate communication to managers and employees about such laws, as well as being responsible for providing guidance on Employee Relation matters. The folks in the GTF People Operations team(s) will be your companions on this ride. Your efforts will band together to enhance the company's operational excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Resolving complex employee relations issues and addressing grievances
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and HR policies to enhance the effective and efficient processes and provide support, research, and advice on related projects in GoTo Financial Group
  • Initiate and maintain the fulfillment of employment-related compliances and Communicate new policies to employees.
  • Draft and review all legal-related employment documentation (e.g., company policy, employment agreement, third party agreement, warning letters, etc)
  • Provides counsel and advice to supervisors and employees regarding employment-related inquiries.
  • Assists in the interpretation of company policies and procedures.
  • Provides confidential consultation and advises employees regarding their employment rights.
  • Facilitates dialogue on employee/employer issues.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor degree majoring in Law
  • Experiences in Employee Relation or Industrial Relation, with a deep understanding of labor laws 
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources/HR Governance/Industrial Relations position
  • Experience responding to audits from outside agencies and/or responding to legal inquiries
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, humility, and critical thinking in order to analyze problems and deliver solutions to GTF Makers.
  • Proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally with another level in the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
