What your new job can look like
Reporting to the Moodle Products team, this brand new role will form part of a new team to support our commercial operations and will be integral to our ongoing success. As an experienced salesperson, you will:
- Develop positive relationships with Moodle Certified Service Providers & Partner Managers
- Help us to identify the needs of, qualify and convert incoming leads based on whether they are a good fit for our products
- Engage with our service providers, support team and potential customers to help follow up on sales opportunities
- Follow-up unsuccessful leads to understand how we’d be able to help them
- Work closely with the products and marketing team for commercial campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and help our service providers and Partner Managers understand them
- Suggest best practices and processes to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
With the pace of Moodle, no two days will ever be the same! But most days will involve a mix of:
- You will be utilising several different communication tools to work with our different teams
- You will be responding and handling leads created in Salesforce and live chat
- You will be following-up ongoing leads to ensure a satisfactory outcome for both service partners and potential customers
- You will be generating weekly reports for the management team
We'd love to meet you
ESSENTIAL
- Highly motivated to learn new things and engage with potential customers
- Previous experience as an inside sales team member/sales development representative
- Proven ability to identify prospect needs, present appropriate products/services as meeting those needs, and convert them into paying customers.
- Excellent communication skills especially writing in English and Spanish
DESIRABLE
- Ability to suggest best practices and processes to improve the effectiveness of the inside sales team
- Experience with SaaS products, Moodle or other Learning Management systems
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system
- Experience using live chat
