DevOps Engineer

About the role (Role Objectives): 

DevOps Engineer will be mainly responsible for building and setting up new development environments, tools, and infrastructure. Not only that, they will also work on ways to automate and improve the development and release process. The other responsibilities they need to carry out are ensuring the systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats, identifying technical problems and performing software updates and fixes when needed, continuously monitoring published security issues and providing responses against it. Last but not least, monitoring system resources (database, CPU, RAM, network) and managing system configuration and credentials.

What you’ll do (Key Responsibilities): 

• Building and setting up new development environment, tools and infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release process
• Ensuring the systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats
• Identifying technical problem and performing software updates and fixes when needed
• Continuously monitor published security issue and provide response against it
• Monitor system resource (database, CPU, RAM, network)
• Manage system configuration and credentials

What criteria you’ll need to fulfill (Requirements):

• Should have at least 5-8 years of devops engineering 
• Experience with multiple cloud environment and monitoring tools
• Experience with container technology (docker, k8)  and microservices ecosystem

What skills you’ll need (Capabilities):

• Network routing
• Scripting
• Problem solving and analytical thinking
