Data Scientist

INDICO is a subsidiary of Telkomsel, Indonesia's leading digital telecom company. INDICO plays a strategic role as a holding company that houses current and prospective vertical digital business portfolios, including Kuncie (edu-tech), Fita (health-tech), and Majamojo (game). Moving forward INDICO aims to explore opportunities in multiple verticals adjacent to Telkomsel’s digital businesses. As a digital platform company, INDICO aims to leverage Telkomsel’s digital assets and capabilities to create a flywheel effect of innovations to develop cross-sectoral digital solutions that will empower Indonesia’s digital economy.

What you will do, but not limited to:

• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
• Merging different data sources and reformatting or processing the data using ETL tools
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
• Design math-based solutions on business case to evaluate the impact of new and existing product features.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Communicating insights, analysis, data visualization and business case to the stakeholders
• Collaborate with tech and product team to solve customers problem based on data.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other related fields
• Proven with min 5 year experiences as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
• Have experience using Phyton, AWS and/or Terraform is a plus point
• Knowledge of data science concepts (regression, classification, clustering, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
• Proficient in programming skills for data acquisition, processing, and analysis from large data sets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
