Data Science Intern

As a As a Data Science Intern, you will be part of a regional function working to support the data science department in Funding Societies. The role requires using a variety of skills including analysis, modeling, coding, effective communication, creative problem solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to solve impactful business problems.

What you will do:

• Perform simple analysis and modeling tasks
• Generate regular reports and insights from data models; identify opportunities on model utilisation
• Create, maintain, and update model technical documentation based on papers and/or current models
• Support the team in maintaining model uptime, accuracy, and relevance
• Test current model deployment flows and drive improvements

What we are looking for:

• Beginner to Advanced SQL
• Beginner to Advanced Python
• Strong communicator - excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate aspiring data scientist who have ambitions to create impact in the DS domain

Good to-Haves:

• Risk and Finance Knowledge
• Understanding of MLOps
• Familiarity with software development and testing processes, especially in data science
