Job description
- Design, build, and maintain data platforms (data warehouses, dashboard/reporting platforms, etc)
- Design and develop data pipelines with various data sources
- Ensure data quality and data integrity, identify opportunities for data acquisition, analyze, and organize raw data
- Write and review technical documents including design and development documents
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure data ecosystem quality
Requirements
- Has a solid understanding of SQL and RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or BigQuery)
- Experience working with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, Airbyte, debezium, etc)
- Advanced in writing code with any programming language (preferably Python, Java, Scala, or Go)
- Understanding of git, shell scripting, and containerization (docker or else)
- Knowledge of distributed systems would be a great advantage
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote & asynchronous organization
