About the Role
The Driver Platform team caters to drivers who are the backbone of the Gojek ecosystem. In role you will focus on projects that help Gojek to seamlessly onboard drivers, work tirelessly to make the gojek ecosystem supply reliable (having enough drivers at the right time and in right places), working on projects that enable drivers to deliver high quality of service, rewards program and manage their complete lifecycle on the Gojek Platform. You will work with Business and product stakeholders and help make data-driven decisions.
What You Will Do
- Design data marts to meet business requirements
- Perform (exploratory) analysis in relation to determining new project pilot settings, new features, user behavior, & in-app behavior
- Design and evaluate experiments
- Communicate findings through well documented analyses and visualizations
- Build self-serve data products such as dashboards and tables to reduce time to insights and for tracking product group KPIs
- Perform advanced analytics/DS when needed (such as building machine learning models using R/Python)
What You Will Need
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data analytics and business intelligence
- Expert in SQL and strong experience with data visualization and dashboarding (using tools like Tableau, Metabase, google data studio, etc)
- Strong knowledge of Python/R for data wrangling analysis
- Ability to design a data mart to meet business requirements
- Strong business sense and critical thinking ability
- Ability to independently conduct analysis of a business problem through data manipulation, formulation of hypotheses, design and statistical analysis of experiments to test them
- Bonus points for prior experience with supervised & unsupervised learning and business analysis
About the Team
Our larger team, the Driver Platform data team, is a 10+ member team consisting of data analysts and data scientists based in Jakarta and Bangalore. In collaboration with our business and product counterparts, we work towards enriching driver experience on the driver app and also work to help them improve their income opportunities. We do so by doing rigorous analyses, building decisioning systems and data products. For example, we supported launches of multiple driver app features, have built driver states framework, have helped automate ticket arbitration systems and are in the process of developing driver recommendations.
While our team is based in two different countries, we are a tight-knit group who are bonded by two things: impacting the lives of our customers (our hardworking drivers in our case) for better through our work and striving for excellence in our work 🙌.
