PURPOSE OF THE POSITION :

Monitoring the operation of the core application system, making improvements or follow-ups on the repair process carried out by vendors and carrying out improvement initiatives on core applications so that they can run more effectively and efficiently while still following the applicable regulations at HIJRA BANK.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Performing the process of monitoring the core application operations.

- Resolving problems in the core banking system.

- Sharing knowledge/system operational training to the other IT Operations team, especially for Level 1 Support & Helpdesk

- Assist the core system development team in the deployment process of solutions that have been completed and approved for migration to Production systems.

- Carry out the deployment process for fixing made by the development team or vendor team.

- Assist the process of switching over DRC and/or BCP Operation Team according to a predetermined schedule.

- Create documentation for each deployment process.

AUTHORITY OF THE POSITION HOLDER :

- Access the production system (view) for monitoring purposes.

- Have access for troubleshooting.

- Have access to the vendor portal for problem logs.

RELATIONS / STAKEHOLDERS : Internal 1. Core System user work unit 2. Other IT work units External 1. IT Vendor

JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
Minimum 2 years experience in core banking system.
Having knowledge in any core banking system will be an advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

COMPETENCIES SKILL :

Understand basic programming language preferably Java, Java Script for troubleshooting purposes.
Understand the use of SQL, MySQL or Postgre queries.
Understand the basic processes of banking operations.
Understand the basic banking products.
Understand basic API concepts.
