POSITION DETAILS
We are looking for a passionate, high-performing individual to join a collaborative program team of Delterra colleagues, external staff, and local partners in Indonesia as Community Capability Building & Education Senior Coordinator.
When it comes to capability and capacity building in waste management, educating community about the importance of waste management systems and implementing effective ways of working at the village and regency level facilities on the ground is one of the key factors to make it successful.
Community Capability Building & Education Senior Coordinator focuses on building knowledge and skills development through community engagement (such as training, empowerment, and socialization) to communities on both village and regency level. Our goal is to enhance all capability building activities that will have a meaningful and purposeful long-term outcome.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate capability-building and/or empowerment activities, such as workshop, training, and mentorship to the regency government apparatus and villages.
- Support training delivery, such as co-creating materials with relevant internal workstream representatives, preparing logistics, procurement, schedule, communication and documentation by liaising with a range of local stakeholders.
- Prepare meeting, meeting minutes and collecting data such as training attendance and assessments for engagement reports to funders and to be used as basis of analysis for future improvement.
- Provide feedback, conduct retrospective sessions for all workstreams, and run improvement action plans.
- Assist in Learning Module System (LMS) access and digital production content to be used in the training delivery.
- Work alongside Community Capability Building & Education Senior Associate to plan conceptual training developments.
- Other important ad-hoc and time-sensitive duties as they arise from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Education or Training.
- Experience in coordinating, managing and conducting training for complex implementation projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrate aptitude in conceptual and analytical problem solving (e.g., using basic data tools such as excel to develop data driven solutions).
- Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken).
- Track record of establishing credibility and communicating effectively with a broad range of people, from community representatives to senior leaders.
- Experience in working with Community Leaders and Governments.
- Experience in developing material on LMS and/or working on design graphics is a plus point.
- Passion for making change happen in the environmental and/or waste space.
