Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes in accordance with the restaurant's standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly cared for
- Follow recipes and instructions from chefs closely to produce consistent and appealing dishes
- Participate in food inventory management and assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Commis
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for the culinary arts
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary degree or relevant qualifications are preferred but not mandatory
