AYANA Hospitality is looking for a Commis to join its team at AYANA Komodo. The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen team to prepare the highest quality food for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful setting with a team that is passionate about delivering the best possible experience to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of food items for our guests
- Follow the recipes and specifications provided by the senior chefs
- Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, and fish
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with the receiving and storage of food deliveries
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required, culinary school or formal culinary training preferred.
