The commercial strategy manager will lead the commercial team in the design, implementation and execution of key commercial and marketing strategies to drive growth and business development.

Commercial Strategy

  • Work with the Head of Sales to formulate an overarching commercial strategy to ensure growth and profitability of Ninja Direct.
  • Design and execute commercial initiatives to support the Sales team in meeting targets while managing the ROI and budget of these initiatives.
  • Spearhead insightful market studies to ensure commercial strategy is built on a good understanding of market and competitors.
  • Manage pricing strategy to maintain and improve Ninja Direct’s competitiveness.
  • Target/Goals : Revenue, acquisition, retention, CM.

Marketing Strategy and Top of Funnel Management

  • Develop the branding and communication strategy through deep understanding of the market and product requirements.
  • Lead the branding and advertising initiatives, and customer promotions.
  • Supervise the marketing team in the measurement and reporting of key marketing metrics, and adjust the marketing strategy based on latest insights and market trends. 
  • Ensure that the business’ top of funnel is healthy at all times.
  • Target / Goals : Number of impressions, number of target audience reached, target audience engagement, number of reactions to marketing campaigns.

Team Management

  • Keep track of the team’s commercial objectives and ensure that the team is on track with the targets set out.
  • Target / Goals : Team performance and productivity.

Requirements

  • At least a degree from a reputable University
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working in Marketing / Commercial department
  • English literacy a strong plus point

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proficiency in Google Suites
  • Proficiency in English Language
  • Product Knowledge
  • Develop commercial strategies with strong logical thinking
  • Experience in devising effective campaigns
  • Understanding of the full marketing mix and brand direction
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices, especially on social channels
