About the Role The role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Collection policies, strategies, MIS reports, processes and procedures, conducting complex analysis and providing accurate and concise results with recommendations to management.You will need to leverage data and score models to define and propose strategy/solutions that deliver measurable improvements in collections and recoveries performance.You will be using advanced analytical tools and techniques to and will be responsible for owning processes and will be accountable for driving continuous improvements in the end to end Collection activities.You will work closely with internal business partners in scoring and analytics and Collections Operations to re-define the Collections approach delivering a more analytical, measurable and cost-effective strategy.

What You Will Do - Create segmentation in the portfolio based on the risk for efficient handling
- Monitoring portfolio for increasing delinquency patterns based on the portfolio triggers
- Creating meaningful management reporting and analysis for portfolio review
- Analyze data to identify early warning signals (Productivity, efficiency & effectiveness) and proactively provide feedback in order to take corrective actions
- Effective trigger based on monitoring to ensure adherence to the process in place and regular improvement ideas for initiating positive changes in the process.
- Proactively seeks, finds and recommends opportunities to improve customer experience, processes, policies, budget vs actual and profit for the company
- Provides accurate and concise results and presents findings, recommendations and presentations to Senior Management
- Proactively finds work/ analysis that helps collection/ recovery team to improve performance
- Expected to work on multiple projects with limited guidance
- Effectively mentors other team mates to help them develop their analytics tools & techniques and risk management skills and knowledge about the business and processes
- Create regular champion challengers to drive continuous improvement(improved performance, reducing cost)

What You Will Need - Min 5years experience in the consumer lending industry with direct experience in managing Collection strategy/analytics will be a huge plus point. - Bachelor's/ Master degree in a quantitative discipline; Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics or equivalent work/training is required; advanced degree is preferred - Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills. Ability to synthesize / analyze diverse information, develop recommendations, and makes decisions - Ability to analyze, understand root cause - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals, should have the ability to present information confidently in a crisp and easily understandable way - Proven record in problem solving and business innovation. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment - Project Management Skills - well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups - Hands on knowledge on tools like SAS, SQL, R and other analytics tools   About the Team GOFinance Consumer Risk team manages the Credit, Fraud and Operational Risk side of the lending business. The Head of Portfolio Risk Management will supervise a team of 3 Risk analysts.

Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, our team manages the Credit and  Fraud Risk side of the consumer lending business. Our team consists of multi-background individuals. We work together to anticipate and predict potential credit risk and fraud threats by building tools to minimize the credit and fraud loss whilst maximizing net revenue. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams to ensure safe and sustainable business growth and reliable financial services for our users, our GoTo businesses, and our extended ecosystem. Our team is constantly working on projects that continuously bolster our risk management framework, maintain the highest standard of best practices, and improve the resilience of our GTF services products. This is a particularly exciting time to join our family as we’re focused on scaling this team to support GoTo’s growing markets, businesses, and future product launches, propelling our services to all corners of the globe. The questions that are always in the back of our minds are: How do we push the envelope in fortifying our risk mitigation efforts, making them stronger than their last iterations, and how can we effectively increase risk awareness throughout all factions of our company?
When we aren’t busy fighting potential credit risks and fraud on our business as usual, you’d probably find us binge-watching Netflix shows, testing out new food spots around town (mostly ordering in to social distance), and chatting about our coming week on our regular Zoom calls. Once COVID subsides, we’re excited to be able to meet and socialize over a meal again.
