We are looking for a Collections Specialist who will join our Cash Management Team in the Finance Department to maintain the financial integrity of Insider.
This position will take ownership of Accounts Receivable functions for the Vietnam region, as well as supporting other regions as needed. In this role you will work closely with Sales Ops, Sales, Legal and other departments to help streamline processes in accordance with company’s policy.
Insider’s Finance Team is looking for a new wonder kid who is a hard working, team player at heart and has a passion for a hyper growing SAAS Start-up!
What you will do day in and day out:
Communicate daily and maintain an ongoing relationship with customers based on AR aging, making calls or emails while following internal processes.
Follow up on customer requests and disputes, providing documents and hard copies upon request.
Reconcile accounts, send statements, processing payments.
Work closely with partner success team and sales to support customers with collections and billing related issues.
Report to Insider’s HQ on AR issues.
Travel to customer sites upon need.
We’d love to hear from you if:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, or other related fields.
You’ve a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role, ideally in a global, scaling tech company.
SaaS experience is also valuable but not a requirement.
You’ve an excellent command of English.
You’ve an excellent command of Excel and/or Google Sheets.
You’re a proactive and self-directed person, you take initiatives when necessary.
You know your way around coordinating and motivating the team members.
You’ve strong organization and time management skills to deliver multiple projects with tight deadlines.
You’ve business judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data to quickly establish the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them.
You’re a data-junkie and number cruncher, passionate about digging into the numbers while having the ability to see the big picture.
You’re familiar with working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, ever-growing and challenging startup environment
