Responsibilities
- Prepare and create a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Ensure that all pastry items are prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
- Follow and enforce strict health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the pastry team to develop new and innovative pastry items
- Mentor and train junior pastry chefs
- At least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a reputable establishment
- Strong knowledge and skills in pastry techniques and methods
- Creative and able to develop new and innovative pastry items
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Culinary degree or relevant qualification is preferred
