We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine - Indonesian Cuisine to join the culinary team at DELONIX Karawang, an esteemed member of AYANA Hospitality. This role involves overseeing the kitchen operations, creating an authentic Indonesian menu, and leading a dedicated team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a diverse and innovative Indonesian menu that reflects the rich culinary heritage of Indonesia.
- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a safe and clean kitchen.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and maintain inventory levels.
- Review financial performance, including food costs and waste management, to optimize kitchen profitability.
- Engage with guests to receive feedback and adapt menu offerings accordingly.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably in Indonesian cuisine.
- Demonstrated expertise in traditional and modern Indonesian cooking techniques and flavors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP certification is a plus.
- Creativity and innovation in menu development along with a passion for culinary excellence.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
