Business Operations Executive

Ninja Van is a tech-enabled logistics company on a mission to provide hassle-free delivery services for businesses of all sizes across Southeast Asia. Launched in Feb 2021, Ninja Mart is Ninja Van’s first FMCG-focused logistics unit. We connect brands with retailers in suburban and rural regions of Vietnam and Malaysia, unlocking endless possibilities for business expansion in this fast-growing region. 

As our business scales to meet customer demand, we are looking for a Business Operations Executive to collaborate with our regional and local teams on operational activities centered around data, administrative tasks, and express logistics. The goal is to enable our business model to grow speedily and sustainably.

Job Descriptions :

  • Key stakeholder for Petrol Mart and Horeca growth beyond existing Ninja Mart coverage across Peninsular Malaysia
  • Work with internal stakeholders across Ninja Van to ensure there's no downtime and leakages for Ninja Mart pre-sales orders
  • Strive for operational excellence throughout the pre-sales process, identifying areas to improve certain processes and structuring it to be actioned upon by the wider team
  • Project manage Ninja Mart’s pre-sales expansion across new territories and brands. Collaborating with internal Ninja Mart team to ensure that systems, resources are ready and executing the necessary components
  • Be the subject matter expert and point of contact for all operational and support related matters pertaining to the pre-sales expansion
  • Assist the commercial team to liaise with brands for operational asks such as creation of new vendor accounts and outlets
  • Utilize data to drive salesman behaviour, ensuring the sales team are aware of their obligations to fulfil their call plans, call rates and identifying ways of increasing strike rates.

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field.
  • Preferably candidate with at least 1 year working experience.
  • Experience in Invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable/payable is an added advantage
  • Good time management and ability to prioritize task effectively.
  • Adaptability, able to thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • Self-motivated & proactive; able to work independently & at the same time a team player.
  • Problem-solving oriented, analytical and data-driven
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with the key stakeholders
