This role will lead the alignment of business operations mechanisms across functional teams and departments within Ninja Direct. This includes establishing critical processes and operational controls, developing dashboards and metrics, optimising existing processes and leading strategic considerations for the business. The business operations manager would play a key role in driving and shaping the operating momentum of a fast-growing start-up, to ensure that the business is well-optimised for growth.
Responsibilities
- Process Design; have a clear understanding of the operating mechanisms of the business and work with the Head of Operations to align our processes with key business strategies and policy requirements.
- Process Improvement; identify gaps and leakages in existing processes and bring about time and/or cost savings through optimisation.
- Change Management; serve as the POC for new process implementations, where you will be responsible for the process design, project management, training and post-implementation support for local teams.
- Compliance; develop preventive controls with appreciation of operational impact in consultation with the Regional Policy Manager. This can be done through regular audits and/or training, and you will drive the implementation of regional quarterly audit guidelines to flag processes lapses for review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of prior experience in project management or business operations related roles
- Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement programs, processes & policies
- Track record of driving process improvements & cost optimizations
- Good project management skills and high-quality project delivery experiences.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, and strategic mindset to advise and manage both internal and external partners
- Knowledge in Business Process Modelling Notation and Excel
- Language Requirements: Proficient spoken and written English
- Logistics experience is a plus
