About the Role
As a Business Intelligence Manager in our Risk Data team, you will lead a team of business intelligence analysts responsible for intelligence and data products which empower our sophisticated risk decisions in protecting GoPay and its customers. You will drive strategic directions of Risk BI and solve some of the most impactful and stimulating business problems in the payments space by partnering with Risk, product, engineering, and data science partners. You will work in a fast-paced environment with direct impacts to the business.
What You Will Do
- Lead a team of BI analysts in conceiving, designing, and building risk data products including shared risk intelligence, automation, visualization, datamart
- Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to deliver shared objectives and key results
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on data products for business stakeholders
- Develop your team to be the next generation experts
- Master in a quantitative discipline
- At least 9 years of relevant work experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science
- Experience managing a team of analysts or data scientists
- Stretch thinker in pushing our data and infrastructure to the next frontier
- Proficient in SQL, ETL, BigQuery, Python, and visualization tools (e.g. Metabase, Tableau, Looker)
- Experience in database design, data architecture, data mining
- Communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively on requirements gathering and delivery outcomes Experience in fraud risk, abuse detection, and payments a plus
