About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be working with the Business and product team on supporting analytics and data products (automated dashboards, reports, alerts, and simulation tools) which will create business impact at scale! You would be helping GoPay at a level of detail that enables the stakeholders to identify and address critical issues and align deliverables according to the Team’s priorities and requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Data ETL (Extraction, Transform, and Load)
  • Create dashboards, automation, and reports
  • Event performance analysis (cashback, promos, POI, etc)
  • Provide visualizations to track GoPay performance
  • General analysis of each new feature/product that has been released and to is released

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/information science, engineering, statistics, business, management, accounting, and other related fields
  • At least 3 years of experience in analyst or business intelligence field
  • Familiarity with all variants of SQL
  • Proficient in ETL (extract, transform, load)
  • Familiarity with Metabase, Tableau, and Bigquery will be a major plus
  • Excellent analytical skills topped with strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation capabilities in order to share recommendations
  • Strong contribution to database design and data architecture, data mining and analytics, data security and privacy, and data visualization
About the Team

Our team likes to see ourselves as what blood is to the brain - constantly supplying the brain with oxygen so it can function properly. Our super team of 11 BI analysts supplies data and insights that fuel GoPay's innovations and evolutions. How does one achieve this, you may ask? Through our data products (automated dashboards, reports, alerts, and simulation tools) and continuous collaboration with the folks in the business and product teams. We are in charge of creating foundational customer segmentation, designing automation processes for campaign tracking, and providing regular reports to the leadership team. Anything data-related within the growth, digital inclusion, or risk and fraud for GoPay is what our team is concerned about✌🏽

We oversee all things to give stakeholders valuable insights into decision making and actively growing to be a world-class team that can be the consultant to the business with complete skill sets in technical and business aspects. It's our job to ensure that GoPay runs seamlessly. One of the biggest challenges we had to face is to make all our works to be fully-automated which can reduce the number of manual work of doing data requests. We eventually resolved it by creating several automation tools and enhancing our workflow and procedures with the help of good project management planning. Currently, we're busy at work on various projects, including one about helping the company to reach its north star metrics by using our data products

Before the pandemic, as a team, we used to have monthly outings/dinners. During the pandemic, we rarely meet each other offline but thank goodness for the invention of Slack and Zoom calls that keep us feeling close. Hopefully, we will have a regular monthly fun time again as the number of cases keeps decreasing.
