About the Challenges

We believe business development is not as simple as making transactions. It is all about generating sustainable growth and making an impact as possible on Kargo’s business chain through maximizing value, strategy for growth, and digital and offline collaboration.

The fun part is that you will work directly with our executive team to will build and lead the core business development activities for Asia countries, including but not limited to Chinese market. That will enable the company to achieve its short and long-term objectives. You will be involved in the strategic implementation as well as creating new business initiatives in achieving targeted market expansion.

Job Description:

  • Develop a strategy of implementation in expanding business to Asia market. Perform market research, commercial, operational and finance due diligence within Asian region.
  • Source and develop relationships and opportunities for company in the target markets and driving demand to grow company's revenue streams.
  • Develop product division to identify and scope product enhancements to identify potential ancillary product sales opportunities.
  • Managing preparation of business cases including P&L and cash flows in relation to new opportunities.
  • Building relationships and helping secure agreement with new partners to assure pipeline of new opportunity and to expand the brand in the logistic ecosystem.

To succeed in this role, you must possess the ownership to represent the company at events across industry bodies with logistic networks within Country/Regional regulators.

Key Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in business development, partnership and/or startup environments.
  • Previous work experience at Chinese company and or study abroad in China.
  • Verbal business and writing fluency in both English and Mandarin are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging successfully with a wide range of stakeholders and providers to define requirements and translate these into projects.
  • Demonstrable and practical experience at a senior level of delivering business change.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, confident and credible when presenting to varied audiences including internal audiences, senior stakeholders, and external parties.

It will be great if you also had:

  • Experience in expanding business to Asia market (small to medium scale from scratch).
  • Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Leadership experience in managing 15-20 team.
