- Achieve individual key account targets set by FO management to increase the company’s gross margin.
- Develop strategies to grow the freight forwarding business of key accounts by participating in tenders and providing quotations for tailor-made solutions.
- Build and maintain close relationships with key stake holders across the client organizations to increase and grow our exposure and understanding of requirements and developments.
- Constantly search for and identify creative ways to provide more value-added services for our key accounts.
- Actively engage and cooperate with regional / global key account management to leverage on the strengths of the Bolloré organization and align with overall account strategy.
- Drive business excellence and best practices by taking an active lead to communicate customer requirements and standard operating procedures across the organization.
- Actively monitor the performance of key accounts activities through regular KPI reviews (monthly / quarterly) and take quick corrective action to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- Build an additional sales pipeline to continuously add new sources of revenue to the existing key account portfolio and take a lead in cross selling to further develop the vertical industries of respective key accounts.
- Ensure all sales activities (visits, phone calls, quotations, traffic opportunities, leads) are accurately captured in Concerto CRM system.
- Report on all activities on a monthly basis as part of the monthly individual review.
- Work with customer business solutions team and control tower to ensure customer receives a high quality reporting of KPIs and additional reports where required.
- Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
- Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
- Ensure the compliance with applicable legal requirements
