Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to lead and drive business growth and oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit card management, strategic planning, team leadership, and a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the company's and Group’s overall financial objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.

Product Development and Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of products, from concept development to launch and ongoing enhancements.
  • Conduct thorough market research and customer feedback analysis to inform product features and benefits.
  • Monitor and analyse product performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.

Revenue Generation and Financial Performance:

  • Set revenue targets and work closely with stakeholders to drive acquisition and usage.
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance competitive positioning and profitability, and monitor portfolio performance to achieve financial goals.
  • Continuously assess and optimize fee structures, interest rates, and rewards/loyalty programs to maximize revenue and customer value.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Oversee risk assessment and mitigation efforts, ensuring compliance with credit underwriting guidelines and fraud prevention measures.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Foster a customer-centric mindset among team members, emphasizing excellent customer service and relationship-building.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports and presentations for senior management, detailing portfolio performance, key trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in credit card management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working with regional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
