About the Role

The Building Management role involves overseeing and coordinating the operations and maintenance of multiple buildings or facilities across a designated geographic region. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, proper maintenance, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards for all buildings within the region. It requires a strategic approach to managing resources, budgets, and teams to optimize building performance while ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the regular maintenance and repair activities of the building.
  • Manage and supervise the cleaning and security staff, ensuring the efficient execution of their tasks.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review emergency protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of building occupants and visitors at all times.
  • Prepare and monitor the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Negotiate terms and maintain ongoing communication with third-party service providers.
  • Conduct regular building inspections, preparing comprehensive reports on findings.
  • Ensure that facilities are in full compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and building codes.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from building tenants and resolve any issues or concerns.

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a building manager or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and building management.
  • Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
