What Will You Do

  • Responsible for maintaining and improving existing technologies and building new technologies for the fulfilment centre, such as implementation of WMS, application and database servers, RF guns, reports, shipping labels, printers, automation solutions, etc.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to other departments such as creating reports, verifying items, enhancing standard operating processes in the fulfilment centre.
  • Providing application configuration and maintenance on operations facing systems, by becoming an expert on the use of all aspects of the systems.
  • Delivering support to users and investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries.
  • Working with the Operations Team in identifying and proposing application system changes, better uses, enhancements and developments and liaising with appropriate vendors, users and the Product Team.
  • Provide correct responses to requests for support by means of for example: making modifications to system parameters, developing work-around or site-specific enhancements, reconfiguring systems, changing operating procedures, training users or operations staff, producing additional documentation, or escalating requests to software suppliers. Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures.
  • Liaise with software suppliers on the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems or further fulfil user requirements

What Will You Need

  • Fluent in English and at least one of these languages: Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, and Thai
  • 5+ years of relevant technical, solution or business work experience (WMS Functional role)
  • Knowledge of JDA WMS Discrete and MOCA command will be an advantage.
  • Experience in other WMS technologies such as Manhattan, Infor, SAP, etc. are also welcome.
  • Having E-commerce experience in logistics is a plus.
  • Cross-function management experience including people and process management.
  • Consistent utilization of best practices and methodologies to ensure demand management and planning, Product roadmap management, and support for business are met.
  • Ability to understand inter-dependencies between IT and business initiatives to effectively leverage resources.
  • Expert understanding of business functional and operating needs in highly complex environments.
  • Ability to review and change processes to achieve best practice standards.
  • Superior influence skills to gain commitment from others and foster collaboration.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent situation management and leadership in a critical situation.
  • Critical negotiation skills.
  • Excellent team player.
