General Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new features for our backend
- Supporting and maintaining existing codebase
- Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code
- Contributing in all phases of the development life cycle in an agile environment
- Driving continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies
What we expect from this level position:
- Works on features that contribute to team objectives
- Reliably scopes, forecast and deliver complex tasks
- Help to increase deliverables by suggesting options to improve the team
- Leading the deliverable of an end-to-end small well-defined feature
- Generate zero operational issue by ensuring a high quality deliverable
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or min 3 years working experience in Backend programming environment
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience
- Proven working experience in Java development
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Object-Oriented Analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Experience in the Spring Framework
- Experience in the Spring Test Framework
- Experience in using Keycloak and JBoss
- Experiences or knowledge in RoR
- Have knowledge on OIDC or Oauth or FIDO Sign-in standards
- Have experience on implementing Auth0, Okta, passwordless
Nice to have :
General Requirements:
- Having an agility mindset, working previously with agile development framework are preferred
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent in prioritisation
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Can speak and write in English actively
