About the Team
You will be joining a newly-formed team that focuses on fighting fraud in all its forms and at all stages - from account creation through to transaction. We want to make the financial ecosystem in Southeast Asia a place that's more accessible and fairer for everyone. Identifying bad actors and preventing them from having an impact not only on our business performance but also people's daily lives comes with great responsibility but also huge satisfaction that keeps us motivated and willing to create the best-in-class anti-fraud platform.
About the Role
The Fraud Platform team builds anti-fraud system deployed on top of our payment infrastructure. We work closely with Payments, Lending and Identity Platform teams on ensuring that we offer our customers best-in-class experience while minimizing our exposure to fraud.
What you will do
- Manage product development throughout the different stages in the product life cycle
- Scope business requirements, write user stories and prioritize the product backlog to deliver measurable impact
- Be part of the development process and work with engineering teams to deliver well-tested product releases on schedule.
- Conduct analysis and evaluate product metrics, in order to propose potential features
- Work closely with the fraud prevention team to understand pain points and develop scalable tools to create impacts, in an agile manner.
- Listen and respond to user feedback to identify further opportunities for continuous improvement
What we are looking for
- As at least 1 year of proven digital product management experience
- Preferably a degree in Computing Science/Engineering, Data, and other science/engineering majors.
- Has a passion for innovation, inquisitive and keen at exploring various digital products and borrowing tools to serve the greater good.
- Understands and is able to balance the opportunities and limitations of design and technology given evolving business needs
- Is data-driven, and looks to both qualitative and quantitative data to support important decisions
- Has excellent communication skills and is a strong collaborator with cross-functional teams
- Able to work in English in writing and speaking. Accents are not a problem. We’ll support you, and provide you free courses if needed.
- Has working technical knowledge of the common web and mobile technologies
Nice to haves
- Product experience is a bonus (platform solutions, API integration, internal tools).
- Prefer candidates of these degree major (CS, CE, Data, Automation); than candidate with a master, but other non-engineering/non-science majors.
