Job Description:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of relationships with relevant policymakers, government officers, regulators, academics, private sector, or non-government organizations in Indonesia to advance the company's business interests.
  • Identify government strategic projects and initiatives, evaluate potential engagement in strategic projects, and lead their implementation
  • Coordinates government relations strategy with other relevant stakeholders or business units in companies that have involvement in it.
  • Monitors legislation and policy activities, updates and advises stakeholders or business units about relevant policy proposals and actions, and analyzes potential impacts on the company.
  • Ensure project activities are on track, including developing and implementing solutions as necessary
  • Plans budget for government relations activities within the company budget.
  • Create a performance review and development plan for the team.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree from a reputable university. Background in public policies will be preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in public policy and government relations with exposure to social program/impact/CSR. 
  • Experience in establishing relationships with the government, institutions, and NGOs is a must.
  • Able to demonstrate the experience of working with business operations and project management.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a demanded and fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong EQ, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical skills and able to provide recommendations based on data
  • Flexibility and can cope with workloads and deadlines
