BI typically handles analysis and data modelling design using data collected in a centralised data warehouse or multiple databases throughout the organisation. It’s a role that combines hard skills like programming, data modelling and statistics with soft skills like communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving. Candidates need a well-rounded background to balance the line between technology and the business.
Your main duties in flying with us:
- Support BI Analysts and DWH Developers to maintain data marts for business intelligence, reporting and analytics
- Support the development of business intelligence standards to meet business goals
- Recommend enhancements and modifications to optimize business intelligence processes
- Address business intelligence queries and issues in a timely mannerAssist in data administration, data-modelling, and integration activities in data warehouse systems
- Work with data warehouse architects, data scientists, and data engineers.
- Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed
- Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources
- Analyze existing reports and optimize them for standardization across the company
Mandatory belongings that you must prepare:
- Graduated in Engineering, Computer Science or other similar fields of study
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python
- The ability to work both as a team and independently
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Practical knowledge in SQL and Data Visualization and Reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Google Data Studio)
- Practical knowledge of programing languages (e.g. Python, Shell) and Python/R for process automation
