Assistant Category Manager - FMCG and Electronics

Job Description:

• Working closely and assisting category manager for the FMCG & Electronics categories
• Define, implement and execute the business development/growth strategy for the category
• Developing online merchandising and promotion proposals to achieve sales targets
• Retain and optimize key account relationships to drive overall sales volumes. This can be done by ensuring pricing competitiveness, assortment and stock availability of key merchants within the category
• Continuously analyse the internal and external environment to ensure that the Category under management remains highly competitive vis-à-vis the market
• Identify, establish and grow other local strategic partnerships

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of working experience preferably in business development, sales or account management
• Strong business acumen with a strong ownership
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in eCommerce or FMCG industry is a plus
• Driven and motivated
• Previous management and leadership experience
• Proficient in English to facilitate discussions and collaborations across stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university 
• Proactive and initiative work ethics with eagerness to learn
• Have passion in the eCommerce industry
