We are looking for a self-driven talent for a Dim Sum Chef to work with our Culinary team at the finest 5-star luxury resort in Bali.
Responsibilities
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Ensure appealing plate presentation
- Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
- Monitor food stock and place orders
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Has a minimum of 2 years of solid experience in the same position in a large luxury resort or in free-standing Chinese restaurant with a good reputation and most talked-about
- Has in-depth knowledge of food safety principles and best practices, HACCP certification is desirable.
- Diploma in Culinary, Hospitality or a related major is required. Bachelor’s Degree is desirable.
