We are looking a self-driven talent for a BBQ Chef to work with our Culinary team in Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant at the finest 5-star luxury resort in Bali.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of barbecue dishes
- Ensure the quality and presentation of BBQ dishes
- Collaborate with team to develop new BBQ menu items and seasonal specials
- Monitor and control food costs and portion sizes to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations while handling food and operating kitchen equipment
- Train and mentor junior chefs in the preparation and cooking techniques of barbecue dishes
- 5 years of solid experience in the same position in a large luxury resort or in free-standing Chinese restaurant in a high volume capacity with a good reputation
- Proven expertise in various BBQ cooking techniques, marinades, and seasoning methods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Eloquent in English both written and spoken is desirable
- HACCP certificated and in-depth knowledge of food safety principles and best practices
- Diploma in Culinary, Hospitality, or other relevant fields
