About the challenge
We are seeking an enthusiastic Affiliates Event Specialist Intern with a "can-do" attitude to assist in strategizing and delivering innovative events. In this role, you will support the planning and management of our events calendar, conduct event benchmark analysis, assist in negotiating vendor quotes, and contribute to research and agreement processes. You'll also help monitor timeframes, manage budgets, and ensure the smooth execution of events that align with our business objectives.
Your creativity, organizational skills, and fresh perspective will play a key role in enhancing Lamudi's brand visibility, fostering stronger relationships with affiliates, and supporting the company’s growth through engaging events that reflect our business strategy and brand personality.
What a day at work for you will look like:
- Assisting in the development and execution of project management protocols, ensuring that they meet the specific needs of each event and team.
- Supporting the planning and management of both online and offline events, ensuring all details are handled with care.
- Assisting in vendor research, making recommendations, and negotiating with external vendors, consultants, venues, and other service providers to ensure successful event execution.
- Gaining an understanding of the unique requirements of various events and programs, helping to ensure smooth operations.
- Contributing to the management of event budgets and timelines, ensuring that all events are executed within budget and to specification.
- Helping create meaningful and memorable experiences that foster strong connections between Lamudi as a brand and its Affiliates.
- Fresh graduate or final-year student from any major
- Prior experience in event organization or event management (preferred but not required)
- Exceptional attention to detail in both administrative tasks and event coordination
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is a plus
- Proactive and able to respond quickly to tasks and changes
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic about learning and actively contributing to the planning, execution, and success of events
