The Advisor for game development is responsible for providing guidance and expertise to monitor the game development timeline, progress across various areas of game development, including but not limited to game design and development, but also their commercial aspects. The game is a third-person shooter mobile games.

Responsibilities :

  • Technical Game Development: The Advisor should have a strong understanding of technical game development processes, including game mechanics, systems, and optimization. They should be able to provide guidance and expertise to the development team, ensuring the game meets quality standards and technical requirements.
  • Monetization Strategies: The Advisor should possess a deep understanding of monetization models and strategies in mobile gaming. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective monetization approaches, such as in-app purchases, advertising, and other revenue-generating features. The goal is to maximize player engagement and revenue generation while maintaining a balanced and enjoyable gaming experience.
  • Innovation: The Advisor should create and implement unique and competitive selling points that differentiate the game from others, including conceptualizing innovative features, in-depth understanding based on comprehensive market research, collaboration with the development team, playtesting and iteration.
  • Project Management: The Advisor will oversee the game's development timeline and progress. They will work closely with the development team, setting milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of features and updates. Effective project management skills are crucial for coordinating different departments and maintaining the overall project schedule.
  • Financial and Commercial Aspects: The Advisor will monitor the game's financial performance, analyzing key metrics, and identifying areas for improvement. They will work closely with the business and marketing teams to develop and execute commercial strategies, including user acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives. The goal is to maximize the game's commercial success while aligning with player expectations.

Game Development

  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in full stack game development, including proficiency in game engines, programming languages, back end servers, and game development tools.
  • Highly knowledgeable in Unity and server-side scripting languages, including C#, Node.js, Python. Previous experience in developing third-person shooter games or similar genres is highly desirable.

Monetization Expertise

  • The Advisor should possess a deep understanding of mobile game monetization models, such as free-to-play, in-app purchases, subscriptions,
  • In-game events and advertising. They should be familiar with effective monetization strategies and industry trends

Project Management

  • Strong project management skills are necessary to effectively track the game's development progress, set milestones, and coordinate with the development team.
  • Proven track record of successful contributions to the development and commercial success of mobile games

Communication and Collaboration

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and related stakeholders.
  • The Advisor should be able to articulate ideas clearly and provide constructive feedback to drive the game's success.
  • Understanding of local culture and /or work ethics and able to create strategy to promote cultural harmony and foster respect for diverse values within the team.


Marketing Knowledge

  • The Advisor should have a solid understanding of mobile game marketing, including user acquisition, community management, and partnership to foresee further development on revenue optimization.
