Accounting Manager - AYANA Komodo Resort

  • Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
  • Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
  • Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.
  • Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued.
  • Maintains a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets.
  • Completes month end closing period each month
  • Provide direction and assistance to other department regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
  • Understanding and utilizing professional skills and knowledge in a specific functional area to conduct and manage everyday business operations and generate innovative solutions to approach function-specific work challenges.
  • The ability to recognize, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial data, and create flow charts on main accounting and control cycles (A/R, AP, Cash) to facilitate understanding of key control points.
  • The ability to perform bookkeeping procedures, proficiently use financial systems technology, and accurately complete general ledger entries; knowledge of database structures in order to obtain financial queries; establish Cash flow statements and cash flow forecast with a good understanding the financials flows and the working capital needs.
  • The ability to create and maintain spreadsheets as well as analyze and summarize financial data using appropriate financial software.


  • Bachelor degree in Accounting
  • Having 2-3 years experience in supervisory/managerial level from 4 or 5 stars hotel
  • Strong knowledge in accounting and taxation
  • Have a good analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Good interpersonal skill and be able to coordinate with other teams
  • Having previous experience in reputable accounting firm and exposure with SAP System will be an advantage
