We are looking for an Accountant with hands-on knowledge of hotel accounting and attention to detail who will assist our Finance & Accounting Manager in monthly reporting, daily posting, reconciliation, and compliance with the hotel’s policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy in daily posting, correct calculation, and document completeness for all daily transactions.
- Organize, secure and maintain all files, and records in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliation and analyze & follow up on reconciling items.
- Complete tasks and assignments related to monthly closing and ensure accuracy in postings.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting issues.
- Provide support during the ad-hoc task and/or audit-related.
- Coordinate tasks and work with other departments.
- Administer monthly tax filing as required.
- Conduct audit where necessary.
- Perform other duties that are assigned as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in accounting from a reputable university.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ledger. Experience working in a 5-star resort is a plus.
- Well-versed with the hotel accounting systems (Sun System, SAP, VHP, etc.).
- Attention to detail – maintain a high level of accuracy and timely processes.
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing is a plus.
- Strong commitment and Result oriented.
- Knowledge of Tax Accounting is a plus.
- Excel skill is a must.
