We are looking for a competent Account Manager  to find business opportunities and manage customer relationships in the F&B and Retail industry in Sumatra Area. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our key customer base.

The ideal candidate will be a candidate who has experience in customer service and sales. We expect you to be a reliable professional, who is able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach. Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into profitable long-term relationships.

What You Will Do

  • Be a consultant to our merchant and provide the best course of action to resolve merchant issues and inquiries.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key merchants 
  • Collect merchants’ feedback to improve customer experience
  • Upselling for premium features
  • Maintain and report renewal progress and upselling results on a regular basis and suggest improvements
  • Cross-collaboration with different teams to drive initiatives 

What You Will Need

  • Strong analytical and planning skills, familiar with Excel
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian
  • At least 2 years working experience handling key accounts
The Customer Success Team is a family of 40+ individuals based in Jakarta, Sumatra, Bali, Medan, and other cities in Indonesia. We consistently maintain relationships with our merchant partners in Indonesia. We also work to improve the merchant-partner experience by collaborating with the product team on innovation and integration with the rest of the Gojek ecosystem.

To tackle these challenges, we have adopted event-driven architectural patterns in our product designs, as well as agile practices across all our day-to-day processes.
This COVID era has been hard on all of us. Off-hours, we are doing our best to stay in touch and continue to bond through fun online activities. Once COVID is over, we are looking forward to resuming our regular team-wide social activities such as dinner-and-drinks evenings and team off-sites.
